The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) provides a range of short courses and special Master’s programmes that last one year. These are intended for both professionals and non-professionals who are looking to progress in their careers or gain expertise in a new area.

UGBS’s One Year Special Master’s Programmes are offered on weekends and as sandwich courses to accommodate all potential students. The following are some of the programmes available:

Sandwich Programmes (Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm):

  • MSc. in International Business
  • MSc. in Hospitality and Tourism Management
  • MSc. in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
  • MA in Marketing Strategy
  • MA in Organisational Leadership & Governance
  • MA in Public Sector Management

Weekend Programmes (Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Saturdays from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm):

  • MA in Management & Administration

UGBS Requirements

A good first degree (at least a second-class lower division) in a relevant field of study at the University of Ghana or any recognized University. A minimum of two to three years working experience is required from all applicants desiring to pursue programmes at the University of Ghana Business School.
