How to Apply to University of Ghana
If you’re interested in applying to the University of Ghana, Legon, here are the steps you need to follow:
- Buy an E-Voucher: For Ghanaian applicants, the University of Ghana online application E-VOUCHERS can be purchased for GH¢220.00 at various banks such as Access Bank, Ecobank, Republic Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, Ghana Commercial Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal Merchant Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Prudential Bank and Fidelity Bank. You can also get the E-VOUCHERS by dialing the USSD code *887*9# on all mobile networks.
- Complete the Application Form: Once you have the e-voucher, follow the instructions provided. The application form is available online and can be filled out and submitted there. Make sure to include your name, mobile phone number, and email address on the bank voucher before you are served.
- Attach Necessary Documents: If you’re applying for the Diploma/HND to Degree, you’ll need to scan and attach your Diploma/HND transcripts, ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level certificates/result slips. Combine your pay-in-slips and your certificates/result slips into one PDF or WORD document and attach it to the application form.
- Submit Your Application: After you’ve filled out the application online, keep your e-voucher in a safe place. You may need it later when checking your admission status.
For international students and Ghanaians applying from abroad, they should not purchase the e-voucher. They should use the online application form. All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of US$110.00.
