Is D7 Accepted in UG?

As per the policy guidelines set by the National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE), a D7 grade is not accepted for admission into universities in Ghana, including the University of Ghana. This implies that even if a student achieves an A1 grade in all seven subjects but gets a D7 in one, they are ineligible for admission into any university in Ghana.

For students who have a D7 grade in their WASSCE exam result, there is still a possibility for admission into a university in Ghana. This can be achieved if the student agrees to re-take the paper through NOVDEC.
