How to Pay for UG Graduation Fee for Congregation Ceremony

The University of Ghana will be hosting its Congregation Ceremonies from January 23 to January 27, 2024. These ceremonies will take place at the Great Hall and the Cedi Conference Centre and will be for students from various colleges and the School of Graduate Studies.

The Congregation Ceremonies will be held for students of the following Colleges and the School of Graduate Studies:

How to Pay for UG Graduation Fee for Congregation Ceremony

To pay for the UG Graduation Fee for the Congregation Ceremony, you can follow these steps:

  1. Verify your name: Ensure your name is on the approved list of Graduands from all the Colleges on the graduation list page. You can do this by using your University of Ghana ID numbers or surname.
  2. Complete the online registration: Make sure to log in and register for the appropriate session.
  3. Settle any outstanding fees: If you have any unpaid bills, make sure to contact the Student Accounts Office at the Jones-Quartey Building to clear them.
  4. Register before making payment: It’s important to complete the online registration form before making the payment to avoid any complications.
  5. Make the Congregation fee payment: The fee for the Congregation is Gh ¢400.00. You can pay this fee through UGPay via the graduation registration page, using MTN Mobile money/Vodafone cash, or at any ECOBANK branch (into the UG graduation account).
  6. Payment window: You can make the payment from 29th December 2023 – 18th January 2024.
  7. Deadline for Registration and Payment: Make sure to complete the registration and payment by 18th January 2024 by 3.00pm.

Note: Students with outstanding fees on their Account may be barred from registration and receipt of their UG transcripts/certificates.
